Description

Introduced as an update to the prior Model 48, the 1936 Ford Model 68 featured a more upright grille for better engine cooling, faired‑in headlights, and a smoother body profile. The revamped range retained Ford’s reliable Flathead V8, which offered an appealing balance of power and durability during the Depression era. Offered in multiple body styles from coupes to sedans and, of course, pickups, the Model 68 proved exceedingly popular then—and its classic styling makes it a popular hot rod and street rod choice today.

This 1936 Model 68 Pickup has been modified with a 24-stud 239ci flathead V8 fitted with dual carburetors as well as an Offenhauser intake manifold and cylinder heads, and it delivers power to the wheels through a three-speed manual transmission. The body wears yellow paint and its bed floor has been redone with wood planks. Additional modifications include a lowered suspension, a dropped front axle, and 15” Cragar five-spoke alloy wheels. Inside, the bench seat is upholstered in white vinyl with yellow piping and a three-spoke steering wheel fronts aftermarket instrumentation.

This Modified 1936 Ford Model 68 Pickup is now offered with parts receipts a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
