Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

The 1934 Ford Tudor Coupe was part of Ford’s Model 40 series, a continuation of the 1933 redesign. It featured a refined grille with fewer bars, straight hood louvers, smaller headlights, and a sleeker body, marking Ford’s move toward streamlined styling. Under the hood, the car's 221 cubic-inch flathead V8 engine delivered 85 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful and affordable automobiles of its time.

The Tudor Coupe (in three- and five-window styling) was joined by the Fordor sedan, Victoria, Roadster, Phaeton, Station Wagon, and even a pickup variant. All shared the same chassis and drivetrain but differed in size and luxury.

This 1934 5-Window Coupe was the beneficiary of a two-year custom build that was completed in 2023. It has received numerous changes and upgrades, including a Chevrolet 350ci V8 engine, Turbo-Hydramatic 400 (TH400) three-speed automatic transmission, Halibrand 15” chrome wheels, Kumho Solus KR21 tires, terracotta leather split bench seat and interior, light brown carpet with terracotta stitching, Vintage Air heater and air conditioning, hand-finished woodgrain steering wheel, TPI Tech gauges, an upgraded stereo system, and more.

This customized Ford street rod is now offered at no reserve on behalf of the current owner with a front-end bra and a clean Illinois title in the current owner's name.
