1932 Ford Roadster Hot Rod

Description
In 1932, Ford launched a completely new car to replace the Model A. It was available in Model B, Model 18, and Model 40 configurations in various body styles, with the Model 18 having the distinction of being the first Ford featuring the famed flathead V8. And while the Model B was modestly priced, it was the Model 18’s V8 that drew a crowd. And that V8’s popularity exploded after World War II, when returning veterans began to modify it to get their speed fix — and the "hot rod" was born.
Purchased by the seller in 2024, this 1932 Ford Roadster’s modifications retain the spirit of those early hot rods, including its flathead V8. Its fiberglass body has been refinished in eye-catching red paint, which contrasts with an upgraded black interior. The flathead wears iconic Offenhauser heads and Stromberg carburetors along with modern upgrades like an alternator, and passes power through an automatic transmission to a coilover suspension-equipped rear end. And front disc brakes help bring this street machine down from speed.
This Ford Roadster is now offered with a clean Kentucky title in the seller’s name.

Additional Information
The seller states, “I purchased the vehicle as-is and have made no modifications. The vehicle has had many upgrades typical of hot rods. The information I was given states that this is an original 1932 frame with a fiberglass body, and it appears to be an older restoration showing normal signs of wear.”
