Description

The 1929 Ford Model A marked Ford’s transition from the long‑running Model T, offering modern features like improved braking, a three‑speed transmission, and a more stylish body. Produced from 1927 to 1931, it became one of Ford’s most popular early vehicles, known for reliability and ease of repair. After World War II, inexpensive used Model A bodies and frames made them ideal platforms for builders seeking speed on a budget. Their simple construction, lightweight design, and plentiful parts helped establish the foundation of early hot‑rod culture. From dry‑lake racers to 1950s custom builds, the Model A became an enduring icon of American automotive individuality and performance.

This 1929 Ford Model A Hot Rod features a roadster-style steel body that was reportedly sourced from a Model A coupe, and is said to have been refurbished by N2 Hot Rods of Queen Creek, Arizona. Power is provided by a modified 201ci flathead inline-four paired with a three-speed manual transmission. The body is refinished in green and adorned with multi-color pinstripe flourishes and “dead man’s hand” poker card graphics, while the interior features beige vinyl upholstery that extends from the bench seat to the door panels. Additional modifications include a Brassworks radiator, Holley carburetor, 12-volt electrical system, and a lakester-style header.

This Model A Hot Rod is now offered with a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
