Description
The Ford Model A was produced from 1928 through 1931, and because they were plentiful, cheap, and featured a simple, lightweight, and sturdy body-on-frame design, they became one of the most-used foundations in American street rodding history.
This '29 Model A Roadster pickup was turned into a street rod under previous ownership between 1996 and 2014, and it was acquired by the seller in 2025. The steel body is finished in maroon with black fenders and is mounted atop a modified frame that features Heidts independent front and rear suspension systems, rack and pinion steering, a 9” rear axle, and four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted rear units.
Under the hood, a Buick 4.1-liter V6 has been installed that is equipped with Kenne Bell valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, and tubular headers that flow into a custom dual exhaust system.
The interior is trimmed in tan upholstery with maroon carpeting and features a tilt column, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a Lokar shifter, and VDO instrumentation mounted in an engine-turned bezel. Additional details include 15” True Spoke wire wheels, staggered BFGoodrich tires, a LeBaron Bonney top, wooden bed side boards with “Foruick” lettering.
This 1929 Ford Model A Roadster pickup is now offered with a binder of refurbishment records, a foldable soft top, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
