OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The Locomobile Model 48 Sedan represented the culmination of one of America’s most prestigious luxury marques. Founded in 1899, Locomobile built its reputation on powerful, impeccably crafted automobiles for an elite clientele, and the hand-built 1926 Model 48 maintained those high standards. Designed to be chauffeur driven, it was equipped with a massive inline six-cylinder engine yet offered quiet comfort and upright elegance, making it popular with executives and professionals.
This ’26 Locomobile is refinished in green paint with black top, running boards, and fenders. Interior features include a black leather chauffeur's seat and a rear passenger compartment with button-tufted cloth rear bench seat, roll-up division window, folding and stowable middle jump seats, flower vases, wood trim, clock, and footrest. In addition, the luxury car has a front-opening, two-piece windshield, artillery‑style painted wheels, a full gauge cluster, and electric wipers and dome lights.
This 1926 Locomobile Model 48 Sedan is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of its current owner with two rear-mounted spare tires and a clean Michigan title in the current owner's name.
