Description
The 1924 Willys-Knight Model 64 Touring car was an open-air product of the Willys-Overland Company during the peak of its success in the mid-1920s. This vehicle featured the innovative Knight sleeve-valve engine — a quiet, durable alternative to traditional poppet-valve designs — making it unique among American automobiles. The Model 64 was powered by a 186 cubic-inch four-cylinder engine, producing around 42 horsepower, and was the last Willys-Knight to use this engine type.
With elegant styling, a 112-inch wheelbase, and mechanical drum brakes, the Model 64 offered a refined driving experience and was available in five models, from roadster to seven-passenger sedan. The Touring body style emphasized comfort and spaciousness, appealing to middle-class buyers seeking luxury at a reasonable price. Approximately 50,000 Willys-Knights were produced annually during this era, solidifying the brand’s reputation for quality and innovation.
This 1924 Willys-Knight Model 64 Touring was restored by a previous owner approximately 10 years ago, and has been driven less than 4,000 miles since. It has been refinished in Knight Blue paint with a black folding top and black vinyl upholstery.
