Chevrolet celebrated Corvette Racing's dominant 2020 IMSA GTLM season with a limited run of 1,000 special edition C8 Stingrays. Unveiled at Detroit's Belle Isle Park in June 2021, these commemorative mid-engine supercars were offered in two race-inspired liveries: Accelerate Yellow with gray graphics (mimicking the No. 3 race car) and Hypersonic Gray with yellow accents (matching the No. 4). 

Based on the range-topping 3LT trim with Z51 Performance Package, these special editions featured a high-wing Carbon Flash spoiler, Black Trident wheels with Jake logo center caps, and yellow brake calipers. The race-inspired cockpit showcased a Strike Yellow and Sky Cool Gray interior theme with GT2 seats and yellow seatbelts. Each car included a numbered plaque and a custom car cover matching its respective C8.R race car livery. Powered by the 6.2-liter LT2 V8 producing up to 495 horsepower with the performance exhaust, these Z51-equipped track weapons could sprint to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, making them worthy tributes to their dominant IMSA GTLM racing counterparts.
