Mercedes-Benz has set new standards in the luxury sport sedan class for almost four decades, and their impressive tradition of all-around performance continued with the “W211” generation of the E-Class. For the 2006 model year, the W211-generation E-Class was available with the standard 3.2-liter V6 in the E 320, the turbocharged diesel E 320 CDI, or the powerful 302 horsepower V8 in the E 500. Each of these cars offered a host of technical innovations, such as the world's only electrohydraulic braking system and the industry's first seven-speed automatic transmission on the E 500. The interior of the E-Class is spacious and luxurious, with highly supportive 10-way power front seats and hand-fitted premium leather in the E 500, which also features gathered door trim inserts and covered armrests. Ownership History

The CARFAX Vehicle History Report indicates that this 2006 Mercedes-Benz E 500 was initially sold in Arizona in December 2005 and remained with its original owner until May 2010, when it was acquired by the second owner. The car was then purchased by the third owner in July 2015, with the car moving to Michigan with the fourth owner in June 2020. The car went under the stewardship of the current owner just over a year later, in July 2021.
