OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The second generation (1966–1970) Buick Riviera two-door sports coupe marked a significant milestone in the history and design of the American personal sports coupe. The 1967 Riviera model year saw the replacement of the venerable the 425 cu-in "Nailhead" engine with a completely new 430 cu-in V8 that produced 360 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. This powerful engine, impressive suspension technology, provided a smooth and controlled ride, updating the definitive American sports coupe with improved performance and handling.
What truly set the second generation Riviera apart was its muscular, avant-garde styling. Styled by Ned Nickles under the leadership of General Motors styling boss Bill Mitchell, the new Riviera featured hidden headlights, and a bold, elegant grille. Inside, the Riviera continued to impress with a spacious and luxurious cabin adorned in high-quality materials and offered an array of advanced features, such as power windows, air conditioning, and a tilt steering wheel, enhancing the driving experience and comfort. The 1967 Buick Riviera remains a classic car, with a devoted following and it’s easy to see why with a combination performance and luxury in a distinctive and innovative package.
