Commemorating its stellar debut, the 2013 Corvette ZR1 anniversary edition is a modern collectible, celebrating the performance flagship for Chevrolet for the past 60 years. Closing out the C6-generation, the ZR1 was the high-performance variant of the Corvette. Teased by journalists as a more powerful version than the already ludicrous Z06, the return of the Corvette’s ultimate variant from 1971 was rumored as far back as 2006 with leaks to the press fueling the anticipation. When the first ZR1’s rolled off to production they came to colossal acclaim, the supercharged 6.2-liter“LS9” V8 was able to propel the lightweight Corvette to a top speed of 192 miles per hour.Helped by a reworked body with carbon fiber roof, hood, fenders, front splitter, and rocker moldings the ZR1 has a reworked exterior appearance compared to the standard Corvette. Since 2013, save for a small hiccup, in 1983 the Corvette had been the longest lasting vehicle in continuous production by General Motors. To Celebrate the 60thanniversary of the most iconic American sports car it would be given a suitably impressive commemoration. 

This Corvette ZR1 60th Anniversary Edition, one of only 138 examples, is finished in Arctic White with the optional Silver Blue Pearl side graphics. The factory black wheels have anniversary center caps. The interior continues the 60th anniversary motif with a Blue Diamond Leather interior and special badging on the seats, dashboard and steering wheel. The supercharged LS9 remains from the ZR1 seeing some modifications by the current owner. This ultimate Corvette combines the heritage of a long-established model with the performance of a supercar.
