The 2009 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (CVPI) marked one of the final years of a legendary law enforcement vehicle. Built on Ford’s durable Panther platform, the CVPI was renowned for its body-on-frame construction, rear-wheel drive, and strong 4.6-liter Modular V8 engine. This combination made it a favorite among police departments for its reliability, ease of maintenance, and ability to withstand the rigors of patrol duty.

In 2009, the CVPI featured a heavy-duty suspension, upgraded cooling systems, and reinforced components tailored for high-speed pursuits and extended idling.
