Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The AM General M1097A2 is a military-grade High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), commonly known as the Humvee. Designed for rugged utility and battlefield durability, the M1097A2 variant was built to handle heavier payloads with an improved cooling system, making it one of the most capable configurations in the HMMWV lineup. These vehicles weren't offered to the public until the U.S. military began phasing them out and auctioning them off in December 2014.
The seller of this 2004 AM General M1097A2 claims this example was previously operated by the National Guard. It shows just under 6,500 miles on the five-digit odometer and retains its rugged military character, including the soft-top configuration.
This H1 was demilitarized prior to leaving the depot and is now offered with a clean West Virginia title.

Additional Information
From the seller: “This Humvee is straight out of the surplus system and retains its rugged military character. It’s a blast to drive and turns heads everywhere. It’s not a luxury SUV—it’s a piece of military history. The canvas top leaks in the rain, but that’s part of the charm. It’s ready for trails, shows, or just cruising.”
