Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible represented the C5 generation—an eight-year run that redefined performance and sophistication for America’s sports car. Beneath its sleek, topless body lay a 350-horsepower, all-aluminum LS1 V8. When paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission, this open-air machine could launch to 60 mph in just 5 seconds—without disturbing your hair.
And there was composure in that raw performance: thanks to a hydroformed frame and fully independent suspension, the C5 delivered razor-sharp handling, impressive rigidity, and a remarkably smooth ride—qualities especially important in a convertible. Introduced in 1998, the drop-top featured a lightweight, insulated fabric roof for better cabin quietness and weather protection, and its manual operation made stowing quick and easy under a tonneau cover. Car and Driver summed it up best: “Rock-solid feel, easy top operation, practical and spacious, and seriously fast makes this the most desirable Vette since 1967.”
Showing just under 93k miles, this 2002 Corvette Convertible is finished in Pewter Metallic with a black convertible top and black leather interior. It has the automatic transmission for easy, top-down cruising. According to the included CARFAX history report, a new battery was installed in May 2025.
This C5 Convertible is now offered in Rapid City, South Dakota with a clean CARFAX history report, sunshade, owner's manuals, and a clean Washington state title in the seller’s name.
