As part of the second-generation Ford Ranger, the 1998 model introduced a refreshed exterior with a more aerodynamic front fascia, new grille design, and rounded edges that gave it a sleeker, more contemporary look. Under the hood, a range of engines was available from a 2.5-liter inline-four to a 4.0-liter V6, catering to both economy-minded drivers and those needing more towing capability. Available in regular and extended cab configurations, with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive, it was a versatile choice for work or recreation.  

This 1998 Ford Ranger XL SuperCab has been modified throughout, including a front clip sourced from a 2010 Ranger. The body is painted in blue and white with a distressed finish and rides on a lowered suspension. Power is provided by a 2.5-liter inline-four, and the factory automatic transmission has been replaced by a five-speed manual. Additional modifications include Ford Mustang- and Explorer-sourced brakes, Aodhan alloy wheels, bolstered seats upholstered in blue vinyl, plaid cab accents, and much more as detailed below.

This customized Ranger is now offered in Georgia at no reserve on behalf of the current owner with a clean title.
