Addenda and errata
Please note that while the seller imported and titled this vehicle in Kansas in 2012 and the vehicle is offered with a clean Kansas title, its CarFax shows a potential California owner and potential mileage discrepancy in 2015. When researching this vehicle, it was discovered a 1977 Austin Mini Cooper was offered for sale in 2016 with the same VIN, and a NMVTIS report shows a vehicle with the same VIN (possibly the 1977 Austin Mini Cooper) that was titled in Arizona (2008), California (2012), and Washington (2016). Accordingly, the seller has committed to work with any buyer to ensure the vehicle can be successfully titled or registered in the buyer’s state as a condition of sale, and the seller is open to using an escrow service for added buyer protection.
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The Mini Cooper is a landmark in automotive history—born from postwar ingenuity and refined over decades into a spirited icon of British motoring. By the late 1980s, the Mini had evolved with mechanical upgrades that improved drivability and reliability, including enhanced suspension geometry, better braking systems, and more robust drivetrain components. These refinements preserved the Mini’s legendary handling while making it more usable for modern roads.
This left-hand-drive 1987 Austin Mini Cooper embodies that blend of heritage and evolution. Imported to the U.S. in 2012, it’s had just one stateside owner and is said to have been garage-kept in Kansas since. Finished in vibrant red with a Union Jack roof motif, it features tasteful cosmetic and mechanical enhancements that elevate its character without compromising originality. The odometer reads 90,203 miles, and the car remains a solid and spirited driver.
Located in Overland Park, Kansas, and offered with a clean title in the seller’s name, this Mini is perfect for enthusiasts seeking a classic with personality, provenance, and practical upgrades.
