Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1986 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade represents one of the last iterations of the classic CJ series before the transition to the Wrangler. Known for its rugged simplicity and off-road capability, the CJ-7 combined traditional Jeep styling with practical updates like a longer wheelbase and more comfort features.
Purchased by the seller in 1988, this 1986 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade has been under single ownership for the past 37 years and now shows just over 117,600 original miles. According to the seller, it underwent a frame-off refurbishment in 2012, including the installation of a fiberglass body to eliminate corrosion concerns. The body received a fresh coat of Medium Blue Metallic paint and repainted white steel wheels. The interior boasts reupholstered black vinyl and a new black bikini top was fitted for open-top motoring sun protection. The frame was stripped, inspected, refinished, and reassembled with a refreshed suspension system, brakes, bushings, fuel system, and hardware. Additional upgrades include an electronic distributor and a Weber two-barrel carburetor for improved reliability and drivability.
This refreshed Renegade is now offered at no reserve with a clean CARFAX history report, a hard top and bikini top, owner's manual, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
