Description
Built on Chevrolet’s full-size truck platform, the second-generation Blazer shared many components with the C/K pickup series and became a favorite among off-road enthusiasts and families. By 1986, the K5 Blazer featured a removable fiberglass rear roof section and offered two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations. Engine options ranged from the 4.3L V6 to the powerful 5.7L V8, plus a diesel alternative.
The Silverado trim, the top-tier package, elevated the Blazer’s comfort and style. It included plush carpeting and upgraded upholstery, as well as convenience features like optional power accessories. Exterior enhancements included chrome trim, distinctive Silverado badging, and often two-tone paint schemes.
This K5 Blazer Silverado reportedly remained with its first owner before being acquired out of storage by the seller in October 2024 and now shows 73,400 miles. The body is finished in Indian Bronze Metallic with Fossil White lower accents and a color-coordinated hardtop. Power is provided by a 5.7L V8 and sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and auto-locking front hubs. The fuel tank and fuel pump were recently replaced. With low miles and just two owners from new, this K5 Blazer is now offered with a clean CARFAX history report and clean a Hawaii title in the seller’s name.
