Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Ford debuted the Fox-body platform in 1979, giving the iconic sports car a lighter, more angular design than the bulkier Mustangs of the earlier ’70s. The car’s performance and appeal improved with the return of the Mustang GT in 1982 — and its 5.0-liter High Output V8 — followed by the addition of a convertible option in ’83.
By 1985, the GT featured 10-spoke “turbine” alloy wheels, charcoal body side molding with an embossed “GT” near the rear wheel, black beltline moldings with a passenger‑side “5.0” emblem, a single lower-half opened front grille, front air dam with fog lights, quad rear shocks, improved suspension, and cloth upholstery with GT‑specific seat patterns.
This ’85 GT Convertible is finished in black with a black powered-operated soft top over Canyon Red interior with sport seats. Its hi-po V8 is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. It also has dual exhaust with an H-pipe, power front disc/rear drum brakes, cruise control, and an Alpine CDE 7870 AM/FM/CD head unit.
This 1985 Ford Mustang GT Convertible is now represented by a Broad Arrow Specialist and is offered at no reserve with an accident-free CARFAX Vehicle History Report and a clean Georgia title.
