Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1972 Ford Mustang Convertible marked a transitional era for the iconic pony car. As muscle cars began to face tightening emissions regulations and rising insurance costs, Ford adapted the Mustang to meet changing market demands. The 1972 model retained the longer, wider body introduced in 1971, offering a more substantial road presence and improved ride comfort compared to earlier models.
Under the hood, the 302ci V8 remained a popular choice for buyers seeking a balance of performance and reliability. Paired with a 3-speed manual transmission, it delivered a classic, engaging driving experience.
This 1972 Mustang Convertible was acquired by the seller in 2017 and is refinished in white with a replacement black convertible top. The 302ci V8 is fed by electronic fuel injection, and front disc brakes are fitted. The car rides on coilover suspension and 18” American Racing wheels, while the interior features black vinyl upholstery, woodgrain trim, and a retro-style Bluetooth radio.

Additional Information
From the seller: “This car was originally blue with a blue interior. I bought the car in 2017 in Indiana where it went through significant restoration from what I was told with lots of new sheet metal along with a color changed to white and black exterior with black interior. The car is a nice, reliable weekend cruiser.”
