Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Volkswagen’s Super Beetle Convertible, introduced in 1971, offered a more refined driving experience while retaining the charm of the original Beetle. Built by Karmann in Osnabrück, Germany, the convertible variant featured the same MacPherson strut front suspension and extended trunk space as the hardtop Super Beetle, but added open-air enjoyment to the mix.
This 1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible appears to be a largely stock example. It was purchased a few years ago by the seller’s late father and is said to have been kept dry and covered in Oregon.
