Description
Unveiled to the world at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, the Jaguar XKE—more commonly referred to as the E-Type—quickly became a symbol of automotive excellence, celebrated for its revolutionary design and proper performance. The Series 2, produced from 1968 to 1971, refined the formula with improved cooling, updated lighting, and enhanced comfort while retaining the E-Type’s unmistakable silhouette and coveted driving character.
This 1969 Jaguar E-Type Series 2 Roadster is finished in bold triple-black—exterior, leather interior, and soft top. Powered comes from a soulful sounding 4.2-liter straight-six paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. This example has benefited from extensive servicing—in excess of $17,000—by Jaguar specialists at V-12 Motorsports of Indian Trail, Inc. Recent work includes rebuilt carburetors, an ignition system refresh, clutch hydraulic service, suspension overhaul, and more.
This E-Type Roadster is now offered with recent service records and a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name.
