Description
The 1969 Mustang was introduced on September 17, 1968, with significant changes making it the biggest update yet to Ford's wildly successful pony car. The models were longer, wider, and heavier than their predecessors, featuring a more aggressive look with a concave tail panel, convex side panels, and a redesigned grille that included an off-center pony emblem and quad headlights, two of which were positioned within the grille. Total model year production was 299,824, down approximately 5.5% from the previous year.
This '69 Mustang coupe has been refinished in metallic blue, and the interior has been retrimmed in blue and white vinyl upholstery. Power comes from a replacement carbureted 302ci V8, which is linked to an overhauled C4 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include front disc brakes, Wilwood calipers, a Mach 1-style chin spoiler, hood pins, air conditioning, and an aluminum radiator.
This 1969 Ford Mustang hardtop is now offered on behalf of the current owner with spare parts and a clean California title in the current owner’s name.
