Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
“How do you add excitement to an American original — an original which is already the most exciting, most acclaimed new car in history?” Ford’s Mustang brochure asked that question, then answered it with the new and improved 1967 model. The Mustang received its first major redesign that year with a wider, more aggressive front grille and concave taillights. The biggest change was a stretch in length and width on the Mustang, mostly to accommodate the new 390 cu-in V8 option, a much larger engine both physically and by displacement.
This 1967 Ford Mustang Hardtop was a basic six-cylinder car when it left the San Jose, California, factory. The rust-free body is authentically restored in period-correct 1967 Springtime Yellow with a Medium Saddle vinyl interior. Stock wheels are an authentic touch, too. But beneath lurks a Ford Performance Parts 302 cu-in Boss Crate Engine with “E” cam good for 340 horsepower. A five-speed T5 manual transmission, hydraulic clutch, and Ford nine-inch differential deliver the goods. Four-wheel disc brakes and power rack-and-pinion steering enhance the handling. Take a classic ’67 Mustang Hardtop and tastefully pack it with modern muscle — now that’s how to add excitement to an American original!
