The 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible blended full-size American luxury with V8-powered performance and open-air cruising appeal. As part of Ford’s top-tier lineup, it featured bold styling with stacked headlights, a wide grille, and clean body lines.

With its spacious interior, smooth ride, and power-operated soft top, the Galaxie 500 convertible offered a stylish and comfortable driving experience for the era. Under the hood, buyers could choose from a range of engines, including the 352ci V8 seen here. Ford also introduced a new frame design in 1965 called the “Torque Box” frame, which improved ride quality and structural rigidity.

This 1965 example is finished in its original combination of Wimbledon White white over a Turquoise vinyl interior. It features a factory 352ci V8 sending power to the rear wheels through a Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. Offered on consignment from the selling dealer with a clean title, this largely unmodified Galaxie convertible is a taste of the 1960s with plenty of potential.
