Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
By the early 1960s, the Thunderbird — Ford’s iconic “personal luxury car” — had become an established part of the automaker's design identity, recognized for its jet-age styling and broad list of available features.
The fourth generation, produced from 1964 through 1966, introduced a new body design with squared-off lines, a formal roofline, and aircraft-inspired details such as sequential rear taillamps. Longer, wider, and heavier than its predecessors, the ’64 Thunderbird emphasized comfort and sophistication over sportiness, appealing to drivers who valued style and prestige.
Under the hood, the Thunderbird featured a powerful 390ci V8 engine, and inside, the car offered innovative touches like the Swing-Away steering wheel, making entry and exit easier. The car was available as a hardtop, convertible, or Landau model with a vinyl roof.
This ’64 T-Bird Convertible has been refinished in its factory correct Diamond Blue with a white convertible top and blue vinyl upholstery and door trim. The car’s 390ci V8 is mated to a Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. Additional features include fender skirts, power windows and door locks, steel wheels with wire wheel covers and Nexen thin whitewall tires, and a period-style Bluetooth radio.
This 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of its current owner with a clean Michigan title in the current owner’s name.
