Description
In 1964, the Corvette received a significant design refresh, most notably losing the split rear window and faux hood vents that defined the 1963 Coupe — making the ’64 model distinct in its own right. Beneath the surface, suspension upgrades including variable-rate springs and recalibrated shocks improved both ride comfort and handling precision.
Every Corvette was equipped with a 327ci V8, offered in a base 250-horsepower configuration or optional 300-, 365-, and 375-horsepower variants. Enthusiasts overwhelmingly favored the four-speed manual transmission as seen here, available in both wide- and close-ratio setups.
The 1964 Corvette struck a balance between performance and personalization, appealing to weekend cruisers and serious drivers alike. Buyers could choose from options including air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, and numerous color and trim combinations — ensuring each car reflected its owner’s style. Sales climbed to 22,229 units, with the Convertible once again leading the way as the most popular choice.
Finished in iconic and factory-correct Ermine White with a red interior, this 1964 Convertible is powered by a 327ci V8 backed by a four-speed manual. It’s been fitted with side pipes and knock-off wheels wearing modern tires, and received recent maintenance including new upholstery and carpeting, a fuel tank, brakes, and rear suspension components.
This C2 is now offered with a removable hard top and a clean Ohio title in the seller's name.
