The 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix represented the GM brand’s growing commitment to blending luxury with high performance during the early muscle‑car era. Introduced in 1962 as a personal‑luxury coupe, the Grand Prix entered '63 with cleaner styling including a formal roofline and a distinctive grille treatment that separated it from the Catalina on which it was based.

Pontiac emphasized a driver‑focused personality, offering bucket seats, a center console, and performance‑oriented suspension tuning. Under the hood, buyers could choose from a range of powerful V8 engines, reflecting Pontiac’s rising reputation for speed and engineering innovation.

This 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix is powered by the desirable 421ci High Output Tri-Power V8 that generated 370 horsepower from the factory, mated to a Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. The car has been refinished in Silvermist Gray (D code) paint with a red vinyl upholstery and red carpet.
