Description
The 1957 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery was a commercial variant of the popular Chevrolet 150 series. Built on the two-door station wagon chassis and riding on a 115-inch wheelbase, it featured a fully enclosed cargo area with no rear side windows. However, since it still wore Chevrolet’s iconic 1957 tailfins, grille, side trim, and bumpers, even the utilitarian Sedan Delivery was effortlessly stylish.
Under the hood, engine options included a 235 cu-in inline six, a 265 cu-in V8, and a 283 cu-in V8, backed by manual or automatic transmissions. Because production numbers were relatively low, the ’57 Sedan Delivery is now a prized collectible, appreciated for its mid-century design and its unique style.
And this incredible Sedan Delivery has been customized in all the right ways: it was refinished in high-quality two-tone paint, rides on air suspension for a killer stance, wears disc brakes behind big chrome wheels, and is powered by a massive big-block V8 that feeds an overdrive transmission and a 9-inch rear end.
Plus, its custom leather interior features enough power and convenience options to make your drive both fast and pleasant — whether you’re heading to a local car show, or going on a cross-country adventure.
