Description
The 1955 Chevrolet 3100 was part of Chevrolet’s groundbreaking “Task Force” series, which replaced the Advance Design trucks that had dominated the market since 1947. Introduced mid-year in 1955, the 3100 marked a major shift in styling and engineering for Chevrolet pickups. It featured a more modern, car-like design with a wraparound windshield, integrated headlights, and a sleeker profile that appealed to both work and leisure buyers.
This 1955 3100 is a Stepside pickup that was recently refurbished. The work included installing a 350ci V8 engine with multiple upgrades mated to a three-speed automatic transmission and a late-model rear end. The truck is finished in beige primer and rides on a lowered suspension and 20” Ridler wheels. The re-trimmed interior features late-model bucket seats, aftermarket instrumentation, and painted metal surfaces.
This upgraded 3100 is now offered with a binder of service records and manufacturer's literature and an Arizona title in the seller’s name that lists “Not Actual” under the odometer reading section.
