Description
The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V marked a pivotal moment in American performance sedans, blending luxury with raw power in a way few rivals could match. Under the hood, a supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8 — borrowed from the C7 Corvette Z06 — produced 640 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque. This allowed the CTS-V to sprint from 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds, making it one of the fastest sedans of its time.
Cadillac matched the CTS-V’s brute force with a well-balanced chassis, featuring structural reinforcements and a track-ready suspension. The car’s eight-speed automatic transmission delivered crisp shifts, and its rear-wheel-drive layout preserved classic muscle car dynamics. Aggressive styling included functional aero like a carbon fiber hood vent and optional track package. Inside, Recaro seats, suede accents, and tech like Performance Data Recorder and a customizable heads-up display rounded out the performance-focused cabin.
This 2016 CTS-V is a testament to the brilliance of the modern sport sedan in stock form. With just over 100k miles, this “wolf in sheep clothing” wears Phantom Gray Metallic paint over Jet Black leather upholstery with microfiber suede fabric inserts and is offered with a clean CARFAX history report.
