Who we are

Hagerty was built by people who love cars.

We were a family of vintage boaters, classic car drivers and teenage restorers, and we wanted to make things easier for people like us, starting with the revolutionary insurance product we launched in 1984.

Today we are a company of automotive enthusiasts and experts, with offices in the US, the UK and Canada, and while we’re the global leader in collector car insurance, we’ve moved beyond insurance to offer so much more.

Hagerty Drivers Club is the world’s largest community for automotive enthusiasts. Members enjoy valuable automotive discounts, exclusive events and experiences, roadside service created specifically for collector vehicles, subscription to Hagerty magazine and much more.

Collector vehicle valuation

Our suite of valuation services includes our online Hagerty Valuation Tools ®, where you’ll find historical vehicle data; the Hagerty Price Guide, printed three times a year; the Hagerty Insider app, which allows you to track live auction results; and the Market Rating, which measures the strength of the North American collector car market.

DriveShare by Hagerty

DriveShare, our peer-to-peer classic car rental platform, gives car lovers a chance to experience a wide range of fun and unique vehicles, while giving the car owners a chance to share their passion. Currently available in the US; coming soon to Canada.

Automotive media

In addition to our visually-stunning, award-winning Hagerty magazine, we produce online videos, articles and a newsletter all aimed at the automotive enthusiast. We also host seminars and town halls, automotive experiences, like Ride & Drives and scenic tours.

The Shop: Assembled by Hagerty

At The Shop: Assembled by Hagerty, we make and sell quality automotive gear for people who share our love for cars. Because we’re committed to preserving driving for generations to come, we donate all proceeds from The Shop to initiatives that keep future drivers safe.

Fueling car culture

Programs we support include Hagerty Youth Programs, which provide young people with unique access to automotive-related experiences; Historic Vehicle Association, which is dedicated to promoting the historical and cultural significance of the automobile and protecting the future of our automotive past; and the RPM Foundation, which accelerates the growth of the next generation of automotive restoration and preservation through formal training and mentorship.
