Condition

RHD. Later 3.8 liter engine renumbered with original number. Lot includes correct D-type wide angle head engine, extra WA head and original body panels. Insignificant early history but once owned by Tim Considine. Good older presentation with fresh engine. Highly presentable and usable. Nick Cage collection.

Market commentary

Bid to $760,000 on the block, sold within the week for this price. Considine fatally injured the original engine up on Mulholland Drive years ago, which doesn't hurt the car's history at all. This price is appopriate for a good D-type in the current market.
