Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Driven by Stirling Moss and Peter Walker for the D-Type’s debut at Le Mans in 1954, to a DNF after setting fastest lap. Further raced as a works car and driven by Tony Rolt, Peter Whitehead, Mike Hawthorne, Ivor Bueb, Nubian Sanderson, and Norman Dewis. Restored by Lynx Engineering in the 1970s and later acquired by Terry Larson. In race car condition with aged paint that shows some chipping and mild cracks in places. Scratches at the tops of the windshield. Lightly worn interior. Used underneath. Eligible for basically everything you’d ever want to do with a vintage car. Great car with great history in presentable enough condition.
