Market commentary
Recognized by Mustang enthusiasts for its exemplary performance just as the dawn of fuel shortages, emissions standards and repressive insurance rates made 'performance' a bad word. This a lot of performance Mustang, reassuringly documented and bought right. It sold at Auburn Spring in 2002 for $17,172 freshly restored with 64,394 claimed original miles. Thirteen years later it is worth three times as much and has only about 7,500 more miles on its odometer.
