Equipment
Single Weber, heel covers, bucket seats, Veglia instruments, dual mirrors.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Good paint. The bumpers have been redone, while the badges and other brightwork are noticeably tarnished and the mirrors are heavily pitted. The engine compartment is old and dirty. The underbody has overspray from the repaint and has oxidation elsewhere. The interior is aged but not abused. Cosmetically restored, the next owner will need to invest more in cosmetics to show this funny little Fiat.
Market commentary
Fiat built thousands and thousands of 850 Sports, but time and rust have taken their toll on a lot of them, and finding one of the Bertone-bodied coupes in any condition requires patience. This car may not be perfect, but it's good enough to enjoy while improving and it's easy to fall for the styling. Considering the style, exclusivity and driving pleasure, this is a great value for an astute buyer.
