Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Mid mounted 1,320cc Mini engine, Knight gearbox, Minilite style wheels. Raced at Le Mans in 1964 by builder Chris Lawrence and Gordon Spice, dnf. Retained by Lawrence and restored in 2004 to sharp historic racing condition. A sexy little coupe.

Market commentary

The Le Mans history is worth a good portion of the price paid here with the continuous history with Chris Lawrence adding to this examples desirability. People pay this much for Sprites with less history, so why not one of the 30 or so Deep Sanderson coupes
