Equipment
3442/190hp, 4-speed, wire wheels, narrow whitewalls, dual wing mirrors, Moto-Lita woodrim steering wheel, books and tools.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Represented as matching numbers. Good older paint and chrome with no apparent issues. Poor panel fit, especially on the driver’s door and trunk lid. Rough interior with heavy wear on the driver’s seat and worn, dirty carpets. Lightly worn top. Looks older restored underneath. Usable as-is, but new upholstery and addressing the panel fit should be up on the buyer’s to-do list.
Market commentary
This Jag sold for $89,600 at RM Sotheby's Phoenix five years ago and was a $95,000 no-sale in Monterey last year. These numbers are all on the low side, but the car has only picked up more use and age since those results and the offers aren't going to get too much higher elsewhere. Should have sold here.
