Condition
#1 Concours
World-class. Could compete in the world’s best Concours d'Elegance events.
One of just 1,278 examples of the 220 Cabriolet A, which was less roomy than the full four-seat Cabriolet B. Excellent paint, chrome, engine bay, undercarriage, interior and top. A full restoration was completed in 2000, but the owner passed away shortly after and the car has reportedly only done 20 miles since and presents like a fresh concours car.
Market commentary
Where and by whom this 220 was stored must have been the best in the business because it is in simply amazingly well preserved condition. It brought a deserved superior price.
