Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Rollup divider, rear compartment radio with dual speakers. Great paint, interior and chrome, sharp chassis. Interior of doors are dirty, as is the chassis but the latter is probably from todays weather. Built for Lucius Bass Manning, SVP of Cord Corporation. A long time supercharged 812, its chassis number does not indicate the presence of the blower but Mannings position with the company makes it plausible (if impossible to verify) that it may have been one of three prototype supercharged 812s built before production began. No Reserve.

Market commentary

The way things have been going in 812 SC Cord sedan prices this cars condition and unique history make it a sound buy at this price.
