Equipment
Dual sidemounts with Black cloth covers, fog lights, blakcwall tires, Woodlites, wind wings, luggage rack, rumble seat. Known history from new and believed first owned by one of the mail order Spiegels. Acquired by the present family owners in 1953, the fifth owners from new (Spiegel, D. Cameron Peck, Arthur Sparks, Thomas W. Thoburn, Jr., present family). Restored in 1990 by Clyde Wade of Harrahs and still in excellent condition. Excellent older paint, chrome and interior but the engine and chassis were not done to the same standard so it is really only a very sharp driver.
Market commentary
Since RM sold S. Ray Millers famous Raspberry over Orchid Ruxton in 2004 these things have popped up like flowers in the spring. Well, not exactly. There are only four, but relative to the number which survive thats pretty close, with all but one of them (the reconstructed Muller prototype, D. Cameron Pecks Alligator at B J in January) being sold by RM. This price is consistent with the two most recent sales and the buyer got a car with history and traffic stopping looks for a reasoble price.
