Equipment
Chrome wire wheels, blackwall tires, dual sidemounts with mirrors, rumble seat, trunk, bright red underbody and chassis.
Condition
Discovered by the seller (now deceased) in 1953, restored and shown at Pebble Beach in 1957 where it won its class. Very good paint, chrome, and interior. Chassis and underbody not done to the same standards but more than good enough for touring.
Market commentary
It hardly seems possible that this Cord's cosmetics survive from 1957 but the restoration standard is appropriate to a Pebble Beach quality restoration of that period. In the end it is a highly attractive car and brought a healthy price appropriate to its presentation and history.
