Equipment
RHD. Dual sidemounts, spotlights, wooden wheels, jump seats. This is not the open drive limousine Ben Moser owned in 1993 which itself was a modified body. Its been dressed up and meticulously restored, immaculate and very impressive. Revisionist history Perhaps, but a wonderful example of a Silver Ghost.
Market commentary
A tired, neglected and original car when it was sold for $134,500 at Sothebys sale of the Ben Moser collection in Solvang, California in 1993. It had B&L headlamps and Lucas KOR cowl lamps which now appear to have been swapped for something else, perhaps Grebel. The full roof might be how it was in 1914, but it is now continuous, making its history discontinuous. The buyer got a great Ghost, but paid all the money.
