Equipment
RHD. E&J acetylene headlights, kerosene sidelights, monocle windshield, rear mounted spare, trunk, Stewart speedometer, firewall mounted acetylene spotlight. Peeling green spoke wheels with black Universal tires. Seat leather lightly worn and much newer than the rest of the restoration. Fenders and body heavily chipped and stressed. The chassis and suspension are beautifully pinstriped but heavily worn. This car has an interesting ancient Prest O Lite gas tank that has the logo cast into the tank rather than silkscreened on. No Reserve.
Market commentary
A no sale at Gooding Amelia earlier this year, and sold at $71,500 against a low estimate of $100,000. Although not an original raceabout body, the catalog states that this car has had quite a bit of mechanical sorting and despite a lack of transactions for the marque, less than $2,000 per horsepower makes this a lot of car for the price.
