Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Dual windshields, wide whitewalls, Solar pedestal searchlight, Solarclipse headlights. A solid but aged old restoration. Top is aged and water stained. Plenty of great brass accoutrements. Good interior, fair wood, some cracked paint on wood panels. Usable as is, a powerful double chain drive Mercedes discovered in unrestored condition by Henry Austin Clark, later sold to Alec Ullman and finally to G. Whitney Snyder for whom it was restored some time ago.

Market commentary

A spectacular example of Gottlieb Daimlers finest work and a rare opportunity to follow in the footsteps of some legendary collectors. Its expensive, but worth every pfennig.
