Video: The Great Race, Episode One: Traverse City to Sault St. Marie - Hagerty Media

The 2012 Great Race classic car rally kicked off in Traverse City, Mich., in June before traveling through two countries, four states and 19 cities over the course of nine days. Hagerty had two teams, the “girls’ team” in a 1962 International Travelette 3/4-ton pickup and a “boys’ team” in a 1930 Model A Tudor Sedan, who competed in a friendly rivalry.
