With the success of the Honda Prelude SH, Integra Type-R, and the NSX, Honda was looking to reel in the 1990s with one of the most successful generations of sports cars ever built. Then in 1999 came the Honda S2000… The cherry on top of what was already a perfect triple-layer cake. The S2000 set a new benchmark for any roadster built after it with the 1st-Gen AP1 engine bringing 237HP, with a 6-speed transmission, and a curb weight of, 2,756 lbs. Flashy specs and all but the best part about the S2000 AP1 was its 8800RPM redline and the 2.2 L AP2 engine at 8200 RPM. The Honda S2000 remains on the list of cars that has never and may never depreciate… As long as Honda doesn’t make another run of S2000s. (Holding our breath)

This particular car is a 2004 Honda S2000 AP2 roadster in Suzuka blue with a blue interior and only 80,000 miles on the odometer. The owner, Chris has big plans for this car but Colin disagrees with his intentions. Will Colin’s appraisal convince the owner to keep the car as is? Tune in and find out.
