Video: Flying in my father's footsteps - Hagerty Media

Some of Hagerty Vice President of Strategy Management Eric Okerstrom’s earliest memories with his father, Ted, are of flying in a Cessna 170 when he was 4 years old. Ted, who served as a gunnery instructor and had time in the P51 Mustang during World War II, has always been a source of inspiration for his son, who later became a pilot himself. In the ultimate father/son bonding experience, watch as Eric gets his own chance in the Mustang, while 92-year-old Ted covers him from a B24 Bomber.
