Gooding & Co. sells a 1931 Duesenberg Model J LWB “Whittell” coupe for $10.34 million including buyer’s premiums at their 2011 Pebble Beach auction, August 21, 2011. This reportedly set a world record for most expensive American automobile sold at auction.
