Famed rally racer Barrie “Whizzo” Williams has started more than 1,500 races and rallies over the years, and he raced his “nimble and friendly” Mini Cooper S for many of those. Whizzo always regretted selling that car to a friend, who then sold it to another man, and set out to reclaim his old whip from the man’s ex-wife years later. The car hadn’t fared well after years of being stored outdoors, and Barrie set out to rebuilt it just as he’d rallied it.
